Individuals from the Start!

Every since Isaac was a tiny baby, he has had an extreme love for music. His interest in rhythm, music, and dancing amazes me everyday. It just continues to develop as he grows! Last night, Jamie got out his guitar and was playing for Isaac! He was so delighted. He has never seen daddy play the guitar before. Isaac loved sitting on his daddy's lap and helping him strum!

I just think it is so cool to watch Isaac's personality and strengths develop at such an early age! You can see God's hand on his life as he begins to develop into what God has for him! Tell me about your kids! What have you seen as strengths or interests developing early in their lives?

I have been amazed several times by the way that my children's personalities presented themselves so strongly right from the start, but it wasn't unitl they were a few years old that I finally made the connection. For instance, Xander was sooooo fussy as a baby. As a preschooler, he's by far my most argumentative, strong-willed, stand up for what is right kid. Most of those qualities will serve him well as an adult, but as a preschooler..not so much! LOL! Zoe was the perfect baby, always on schedule, never cried, no separation issues. As a child, she is a people pleaser. Always happy, makes lemonade out of lemons, usually obeys, doesn't argue. She's just always been pleasant and gone with the flow. I lvoe that about her, BUT it also makes me worry that as a teenager she will go with the flow of the wrong people. We'll see about that, but I agree with you it is so amazing to see what God is doing by adding each personality to your family. And if you ever get a chance, have your child prophesied over. I've had some prophecies spoken over my children that I accepted at the time, but now I'm like Whoa! he was so right on! Amazing.

my hannah is very social, but is completely bold about her love for God. i went to her school and they're all out on the swings talking about the rapture one time, and another time they were talking about how the devil is afraid of Jesus's name. this is a public school, and my baby is the playground preacher:)

My little four year old daughter has always been extremely intense. From day one, I could see that she was going to be a handful!
